This story begins in 1876 in Arkansas right after slavery thru 2009 when Barack Obama became President

 

The Un-Told Story (The Book) is factual information taken from video interviews that were recorded (while Beans Bowles was still alive) for his documentary. This book was researched and written by his son Dennis, although many words are from the mouth of his dad and God. This book uncovers his life through Motown Records (Hitsville in the beginning) and dates back to the 1876 when Beans father was born and continues to the present.

 

About The Author

Dennis "Sho-Nuff" Bowles

Combustible, Smooth and Exciting are just a few words that could describe Dennis Bowles. Having lived in the metropolitan Detroit area for many years, Dennis started performing with his family group throughout the 70's & 80's," The Other Brothers Organization". Dennis went on to perform with nationally known groups as The Temptations, The Contours, Enchantment, The Undisputed Truth, The Floaters and Stevie Wonder (in 1992 in concert) at The Tribute To Dr. Beans Bowles.

Dennis has also performed with the International Graystone Jazz Orchestra, under the direction of Dr. Beans Bowles at the First Montreux Jazz Festival, (held in Detroit in 1995). Dennis was taught to wear a lot of hats and was responsible for booking the International Graystone Jazz Orchestra in Jamaica, to perform at the Johnny Bristol Celebrity Golf Tournament in 1997. Dennis who now goes by the name of "Sho-Nuff", (given to him by Motown M.C. The Late Bill Murray), is also a writer/producer/singer as well as a musician. Mastering the flute and maintaining the saxophone and piano is an on going challenge for his artistry.

Touring with the Motown Revue, Dennis traveled as a band boy with his dad. Inspired by personalities like Diana Ross and The Supremes, The Spinners, Tammie Terrell, Martha Reeves and Smokey Robinson and the Miracles (which explains his Smokey impersonation), Marvin Gaye, The Four Tops, Billy Eckstein and Berry Gordy just to name a few. Extracting knowledge and techniques from them all has made him the entertainer he is today. He has toured throughout the U.S. and Japan. After ten year of writing, Dennis is now an Author.
